A Weekend at Sonya's Garden

My friends and I stayed at Sonya's Garden on the weekend of S&Y's Wedding. Since the venue of the wedding was at Sonya's, we decided it was the most practical thing to do. The room that was assigned to us was everything I imagined it to be -- charming and as beautiful as the gardens surrounding it. Our room was really huge, it could fit in six people (we were only three). It had two toilet and bath, big enough space (we could dance in it), and lovely capiz and stained-glass windows with view of the gardens.

I love the vintage charm, the embroidered linens, the lace curtains, the capiz windows.
The pillows and the linens were so fluffy, I wanted to just sleep in
.

A daybed at this corner.
That door leads to the first bathroom with a mini fountain by the window
.

At the the other end of the room was this cozy corner.
I picked this bed because of that big window beside it. I love big windows!
Here, I could hear the sound of the wind at night and the chirping of the birds in the morning.

Bedside tables have books. And interesting bookends.

I loved it here. Everything in the room made me feel like I was home.

The rooms at Sonya's have no A/C. We stayed there at the peak of summer, so it got pretty hot and humid at midday. The weather was beautiful though early in the morning and in the evening. I guess, the weather would be awesome here in November, December, January, and February.

The rate at Sonya's is charged per person/per night (not per room). The rate includes two meals. I loved both breakfast and lunch. But I have no photos of breakfast because I got too excited about the bacon. Haha. But that's lunch.

Another thing I love about Sonya's is the service. Everyone's just so friendly and nice. Oh, and generous, too! When we checked out the following day, they gave each of us (two) taragon and (one) mint herbs. I love taragon and mint! And these made me very happy!

Here's sharing more photos of Sonya's Garden. I can't say it enough -- this place is beautiful and inspiring! In case you are wondering, this is NOT a sponsored post. :) One day, I'm going to have a garden like this.
