Muted Colors.

I spent some time today learning how to postprocess photos to get muted colors/vintage results. I've been finding it really difficult because I like to have high contrast in my photos. I love love love colors, too. There are different kinds of vintage/retro effects and oh my, I want to learn them all!

I practiced on Malou's photo today. And it took me many tries to finally get this result. Funny how, to get this almost monochromatic image, it took me many layers of steps and colors. Come to think of it, it only takes one click to have a decent colored picture. LOL.

But I'm loving the result. It actually reminded me of novels and love stories. When I do write a book, I'd love to have something like this on the cover. *grin*

Then again, I'm not writer. Just someone who dreams without limits.

. . . . .

One day, I would like to write about my Mom's story. Wait, let me correct that: I would like to tell someone (say, Chelo or Chin or Ayen or Mina or all of them) my Mom's story and let them write a book. =D It's good material for a novel or a movie. Or MMK. Many hearts will break.

8 left some love :

Thanks, Chel. Although I think she still looks far more beautiful in person than I could ever freeze her in a photograph.

You know, I like how you postprocess your photos. =)
