Making Pretty Things.

Once upon a time, this lightchaser was a designer and she made pretty things. *grin* I was arranging some stuff when I saw the 2002 pre-Christmas issue of Mega. I don't keep magazines, I usually give them away. But this particular issue of Mega I kept (and two of Meg) because my works were featured there.

Since I arrived from Cebu, I've been making necklaces again. Mom inspired me. I'd almost forgotten how therapeutic it is.

I learned, when I was in Cebu, that Mom has been happily stringing beads and getting orders, it's a wonderful thing.

And guess who was there to help?

Clark and Beau have been stringing beads, too. But mostly for their own use. See that blue bracelet he is wearing? He made it. I told him: "But those are for girls." He replied: "No, this is blue. Blue is for boys."

Ah, but of course, there was a lot of laughter in between. It was a peacefully happy moment to see them -- Mom, Clark, and Beau make pretty things.

He really is kataw-anan, Lou! And he's an utterly sweet kid.

I think he's an old soul. :)

You know me so well! You are right, when and if I get that sewing machine, I won't sleep na! :D

Thanks, Leen. I've been wanting a sewing machine for the longest time. But I don't think I'll have the time to actually sew and make stuff. :)

Hope you get yours, too. :)
