Love and a Ball.

I just had to take a picture of this page from Don Jaime's coffee table book of his photographs. Apart from the fact that I admire his photography, I found this dedication page utterly sweet. How many couples remain sweet and solid after decades and decades of married life?

Not a lot, I guess. So I find it quite heartwarming to find notes of love like this.

. . . . .

Speaking of Don Jaime and Dona Bea, their granddaughter Paloma (daughter of Bea Jr) was part of the uber prestigious Bal Crillon des Debutantes. If I'm not mistaken, I think she's the first Pinay to ever become part of this debutant ball that happens yearly at the Hotel de Crillon Paris. Among the girls in this year's ball were Demi Moore's daughter, Princess Diana's niece, and that girl from Sea of Shoes.

The Zobel de Ayalas must've been very proud.

According to the write-up, The ball is a fundraising activity and this year’s recipient is the Melita Bern Schlanger Foundation for diabetes research.

He's a true artist, T. :)

Let's tell Mark to write a book and dedicate it to you. *grin*

I miss you, too!

Hi Pi! You must be thinking of Jaime Augusto (or JAZA), the eldest son (his wife is an American named Lizzie). Jaime and Bea in this book are his parents. :)
