Bits and Pieces.

Missing my family. And spending time with them. I still reminisce about Christmas because I had such a grand time with them, especially with my sister Azenith. I miss our conversations. I miss her brand of humor.

*

Grateful that I will be part of the lives of many babies this year as their Ninang (thank you T, A, and G). And grateful, too, to be part of those who are getting married and renewing their vows. Yes, I'm surrounded by love and babies!

*

Mom called today. She misses me. We talked a bit about work and about my health. Looking forward to visiting Cebu again and gorge on Mom's cooking. And oh, she reminded me I promised her I'd take her to Lourdes, France. Haha.

*

Had an awesome, laughter-filled lunch with Mina last Sunday. We haven't seen each other for years, so it was totally heartwarming to see her again. And she looks so beautiful and happy and oh, so in-love!

*

Touched and utterly grateful for all the thoughtful messages some friends sent me over at FB.

*

Since it's in the news (never mind if it's showbiz news), I'd like to say something about it. K was right on three things:

One, that it's not proper for a girl to call a married man to cry about her broken heart. She should've befriended K, at least. There are boundaries when a friend is already married.

Two, that it takes two people to make the relationship work. If the other doesn't try hard enough (or love the other enough), then it is bound to fail.

Three, that Noy has nothing to do with it.

. . . . .

And oh, posting this for Mom because she wants to see my new bangs. :)

I love the new bangs.

You have a wonderful family. D looks really poised. Straight back and all.

And YES, Kris was very right.. I understood what she meant when she said, "In my opinion, I am not comfortable about a woman calling my husband. I am just showing my displeasure!"

Thanks, Lou. And yes, I'm blessed that I belong to this family. :)

And about K, I agree when she said those words. I would be displeased, too.

Hahaha! Funny and part about me being the female version of Benjamin Button. :D I loved that movie. :)

About my family, yes, we are close and it helped that we are a very small family. :) Glad you were able to post a comment. :)
