Visiting Jakarta.

We practically only had one whole day in Jakarta. We arrived in that amazing city at midnight of the 23rd. We were off to Bali on the 25th, returned on the 27th, and spent the 28th exploring Mini Indonesia (about 25km away from Jakarta). So we only had the 24th to go around the city.

We stayed at Shadie's beautiful Ascott home. It's in the middle of the city, just across one of the posh malls of Jakarta.

What did we do there?

Went malling, of course.

Posed as stiff as possible. LOL
Taken inside the mall, a photo studio exhibit of some sort.
I dream about having an art studio one day and my friends dream with me
.

Visited monuments.

Visited more monuments.

Took photos of people...

and toilets...

and beautiful mall restos.

Laughed a lot.

Ate a lot, too!

Hopped from one airport to another.
And bought cheap sunglasses. GurCi, anyone? LOL
At Jakarta's Terminal 3, on our way to Bali.

More photos soon.

. . . . .

I had the most awesome shopping travel companions.
Love the laughter and conversations.

I was supposed to go to Bali last October with my friends. I didn't get on that plane, I went to Boracay with my son instead. Sakit kaayo sa dughan 'cause AirAsia wouldn't let me refund!!! Doble akong gasto. Paid for both Boracay and Bali! Argh!

That look like so MUCH FUN Ai! Am sure you had a blast with them. And I love all your sunglasses. You all look so glamorous.

And btw, thank you for the padala. I left you a text but am not sure if you received it. I still have not seen it but I am sure I will love it and use it. You are so thoughtful.

That was so bad of AirAsia! Sayang. :(

But going to Boracay with your son was a good decision, Pi. Boracay's sand and water is far more beautiful. Plus, time with your son is always priceless. :)

We did have a lot of fun, Tita! I was with awesome company. :)

About the padala, you're welcome. It's nothing much, really. I didn't receive your text, but that's alright. It took awhile before I got connected to a network while in Indo. :)
