Grateful for Friendships.

Friendship is the inexpressible comfort of feeling safe with a person,
having neither to weigh thoughts nor measure words.
{George Eliot}
. . . . .
Today, I am grateful because I have friends I can tell anything to without being misunderstood, judged, or laughed at.
Because I have friends who would never let anything trivial come between what have nurtured and shared.
Because I have friends who are honest enough to communicate their feelings with me.
I am grateful because I have friends who know that they can tell me anything and that they will not be misunderstood, judged, or laughed at.
I like the idea of being placed inside someone's pocket where I'll be safe and loved. These days, I want to stay there, inside the pocket. Warm and safe. Thank you, Chelo.
Thank you, Edeena, Rissa, and Shadie for the food and laugh trip we had on Shadie's birthday. You all make my heart glow.
Mecielo, for that conversation about operation on the **** (haha) and everything about life, marriage, children, and health -- thank you. Your presence is always very comforting.
And Ces who, while we were eating at Kulinarya, said something like "You really are my friend because you can tell me straight that..." It's refreshing to hear something like this. Grateful.
Thank you Chelo and T for that conference call. It made me happy. And less mingaw. I still wish you were both here (or I was there).
I appreciated how Kaith made sumbong about something that was bothering her. Trust, I like that.
Thank you Ayen for the updates about Dale. I love receiving those MMS. And I love being part of your lives.
And to everyone who has been very kind, honest, and wonderful to me; those who have written, called, and texted; those I could run to; those who constantly visit this site; and those who prayed for my grandmother's fast recovery -- THANK YOU.

You really are very sweet, Chel. :) Thank you once again.
It's your nature, to care for those you love.

I truly believe in this. The friendships we nurture with one another should be more important than little things we disagree about. :)

That photograph is beautiful beyond words! I thank you, Aileen, for your friendship--for letting me follow you and be inspired by you.
I know we haven't met and don't know each other that well. And you probably don't consider me a friend yet, and that's ok. But I hope you will, someday! :-)
it is a blessing to be your friend A.

I already consider you a friend, Liz. I do. And you may not know it, but you inspire me a lot. Your written thoughts speak of a beautiful soul.
I hope to meet you one day. :)
