Gratitude List.

I got an old Ray Ban Aviator today (been looking for one since it was relaunched). It's about 15 years old and quite loved by its previous owner. I like pre-loved things. Old, worn, or torn because they have stories behind them.

And this aviator was once the former owner's favorite. The frame's paint is peeling here and there, but the glasses are still perfect. Not a single scratch on it.

Yes, it's still made of glass. I heard many sunglasses now are made of plastic. Not this one. This one is heavy. And I like it.

Many other brands have produced aviator shades, but I've always wanted a Ray Ban because they were the first to make/develop this design in 1936 for Military fighter pilots.

. . . . .

Found a pair of jeans that perfectly fits! And that rarely happens for my over-sized hips! Today, I'm glad I found one.

. . . . .

Emails this week from friends and strangers who tell you how much they are inspired by you, or how they remembered you during cherry blossom festivals, or how they wish you were with them on their summer adventures.

. . . . .

Clients who love the photos I've taken of them.

. . . . .

Old friends. New friends. Nurtured friendships. Authenticity. Kindness of strangers. Inspiring stories. Laughter. Urban photowalks. Out-of-town adventures. Coffee dates. Weddings. Babies. Promises.

. . . . .

Being loved. No matter what.

. . . . .

Paparazzi shot today. *grin*

Aviator sunglasses are on my fave list. I normally buy ones that are made for men 'coz I think they look authentic. They were made for men in the first place. Angayan kaayo ka Ai! I think the shape suits you.

Aren't they gorgeous? It has been in my faves list for a long time, too. You are right, the men's aviators look nice.

This one is a man's pair, Liz. :) And thank you! :)
