Glenda.

Glenda and I have been friends since college. And although she and I are quite different in many ways, our stint together at the school paper bonded us like sisters.

There were times, sad & heartbroken, she'd sleep over at my boarding house. She and I would stay up all night -- she'd be crying her heart out and I'd be listening to her stories. We laugh at this memory now.

When she told me she was getting married (she and Sandy had their civil rites last year), I was incredibly happy for her. I always prayed she'd find true love. Sandy came along and he absolutely adores her.

The Church rites happened last Saturday, with only their closest family and friends. It was held in Pandanon, an island off Getafe, Bohol. The wedding was beautiful and heartwarming and fun. It was filled with everything that mattered -- true love, supportive family, real friends, unending laughter and fun, good thoughts, delicious food, beautiful music, passionate dancing, white sands, blue waters, twinkling stars.

I have more stories to tell about the wedding, about the island, about friends. But I need to catch some sleep now. I'm tired. My quick trip to Cebu was hectic, but wonderful.

It was, Chel. Very inspiring. If I ever get married, I'd like a small wedding, too.

About the picture, thank you. :)

Yup, Bohol, Liz.
It's easy to go there, don't worry. :)
When you come home, you can do a day trip there.

Ai this is so touching. Just read this after 5 years. I'm forever grateful for everything you've done. And yes for being my refuge when I was at my darkest. ((hugs))
