Meeting Friends.

One of my favorite things about going home to Cebu is meeting friends.
I seldom really see them, so spending time with them, no matter how short, is quite precious.

Had dinner with Jane at Ila Puti and talked our hearts out.
I loved how easy our conversation was, no matter how serious the topics were.
I admire her strength and openness. And I truly appreciate the kind of friendship we share.
Hope to spend more time with her in June, have longer conversation over humba. LOL.

Then there's Jingjing who gets me, even when I just say oooooohhhhh. :D
We had the most serious conversation that afternoon we met.
Life, love, and death are our usual topics.
And we can actually talk to each other hours on end.
She and I, we've been friends since highschool.

Marlen and I met up at Starbucks and spent almost the entire afternoon there.
We talked about kids, school, work, and life in general.
I'm so proud of her. Apart from the fact that she is living her dream
(she's online editor of SunStar, she has always been an awesome writer),
she's also such an amazing Mom. I like the way she's bringing up her children.
They are so smart and well-bred. Both boys are excellent in school.
Oh, she's running marathons, too, and encouraged me to run with them one day.
Wished Mecielo was there because it was always us three back in college at STC.

I didn't know that Glenda and Ace are friends, so it was such a pleasant surprise to see him at the wedding.
We first met back in highschool. He was shy. I was shy. And as he would say now, it was just ligaw-tingin for him. Haha.
It was nice to see him again and catch up. We talked a bit. And he was surprised that I could actually talk. LOL.
I guess, I never said anything to him back then because he seem to have the impression I was mute. :P

:( Strange, I didn't take much pics when I was in Cebu,
except during the wedding in Pandanon.
