Chocolates & Thoughts

There are days that are simply peaceful.

You sit in one of your favorite chocolate cafes,
smile to yourself while thinking about how life has been kind to you,
and what awesome friends you have.

You feel blessed. You feel loved.

You know exactly that you deserve everything you have at this moment.
You've worked hard for them.

And you also know that you deserve everything you've been given.
Because you've prayed and wished hard for them.
And you realize even more just how much you are loved.

You take a bite and savor the sweetness of that heart-shaped chocolate,
just as you do all the experiences in your life.
Just the way you appreciate the small and big things that are given
and done to and for you.

You whisper a little thank you to the universe
because you are exactly where you want to be,
yet you also know that it is giving you enough space to dream more,
and that you are surrounded by people who support and love you unconditionally.

And you laugh at the imperfections in your life.
Because they make your life interesting and funny.
And they give you the opportunity to try and work harder.

You also remember the people who've hurt you,
the 'friends' you wish you never met,
the souls you have to keep out from your inner circle
because they keep breaking your heart.
These people make you appreciate more the friends you have right now.

And you whisper another thank you
for every person who allows you to be yourself,
who gives you space to be human,
to break, to cry, to rant, to be silly.

And you feel a new sense of gratitude and appreciation
for those who open their lives to you,
for those who allow you to love them the way you do.

Yesterday was that kind of day for me.

Ai, we/i sometimes forget that you are human, and you break, you rant and you have your moments too..you are allowed that...you have that space..=) thats what happened to me, when we had our "lover's tiff"..and now i know better,haha..that i should allow you to be just "YOU"..and not this imaginary no-dull-days human...now i know better to give you space when i have to=)
I love that you're breathing right now..although by the looks of it: you're breathing fire..chocolate fire..LOL..

Dear Ms. Siroy,

Good day=) Allow me to leave a love note and allow me to say, that this is one of the best entry I have came across with so far. I have read several blogs and yet this one is so real, so true, so encouraging, so positive.

May the good Lord bless you more with lots of warm hugs, good food shared with good friends and more inspiration for your Art.

Have a joy filled day.

Love,
Ms. Rachel

Thank you, Chel!
I laughed at the "lover's tiff" part. LOL.
But thank you for allowing me the space,
for allowing me to be human, crazy, corny, and nasty. LOL.

I always try to breathe on weekends.
You're right, I'm breathing too much chocolate these days!

*HUGS back* We never stop growing and learning. :)

Thanks, Cinds!
It's the original pringles.
It's an interesting taste -- sweet and salty.
