Life List.

I love making lists. Back in college, I listed all my big dreams on a cartolina and pasted them on my bedroom wall. I have, thankfully, ticked-off all the items on that list.

This is my life list. Some items are small, some are big, but everything will be pursued with the same passion. Some items are here because I want to conquer a fear. I took scuba diving, for instance, because I wanted to conquer my fear of the water. This is how I want to live my life -- fearless, and in constant adventure and growing and learning.

When I was a young girl, in the hands of those who were cruel, I was told that I will never achieve anything or go anywhere. I almost believed them. We were poor, too. And when you're poor, sometimes it would feel like dreams are impossible to achieve.

But I was a persistent little girl (persistence is my middle name). I believed I could do the impossible (I still do). I started taking odd jobs at 14 and I learned about hardwork, integrity, and gratitude. I learned, too, that there are people who are willing to take the journey with you and that the world is really kind.

I shall come back to this list once in awhile to tick-off some items and perhaps, add some more dreams.
