Thai at Silk.
Although the food at Thai at Silk is not as great as the one I tried in Bangkok (the name of the resto now escapes me because that trip was ages ago), Thai at Silk remains one of my favorite thai restos in the metro. Their food is close to authentic and have happy delicious flavors.
And there's the interiors and the ambiance that I absolutely love. Simple, clean, and quiet. I read somewhere that the famous Almario sisters did the interiors. Unlike most thai restos where they put in so many reds and oranges and brown palettes, this one is just green and white with a bit of brown.
I love the service here, too -- fast, efficient, and friendly.

Yam Som-O.
Pomelo and shrimp salad.

Choo Chee Kung plus Roti.
Minced prawn in reduced red curry sauce served with roti bread.

Garlic pork ribs. What's its thai name? :D

Kai Phat Met Mamuang Himmapaan
Stir fried chicken with cashew nuts

Pad Thai.

Me, too, Chel! Well, next to popcorn. LOL. I have the same wish. Conversations over food, and we both are not in a hurry to be anywhere. :)
