Tradition: The annual Christmas dinner.

This is an overdue post. The past days have been quite crazy. But I have a few minutes today, so I'm posting these photos of our Christmas dinner.

It's tradition. My friends and I -- no matter how busy we get, we meet up for Christmas dinner, exchange stories, laugh a lot, and exchange gifts. Sadly, we missed some of the girls -- Angela is still in Kabul and Sharon is spending Christmas in Spain.

We had dinner at the Old Venice Grill at Venice Piazza at Mckinley Hills.
Beautiful place. It almost felt like we were in Italy.

We cannot not have a group picture. D took this.
They are my constant source of strength and inspiration.
I feel VERY blessed to be surrounded by REAL friends.

We had the entire room all to ourselves.

We watched the fireworks. It was beautiful!

Saw them at the piazza circle. Fabulous costumes. They all made the experience all europe-y. :D

Awesome, no?

Opera and everything magical.

This is tradition, too -- posing with the gifts we received. LOL.
Edeena gave us these lovely gym bags!

Before goodbye, they posed at the huge Christmas tree while Riss and I took pictures.

I like your tradition. It is great that you guys take the time, despite your busy schedules to meet up and spend some time together during this wonderful season. It shows how much you value each others' company and friendship.
