I feel like the luckiest person on the planet. My heart swells at the knowledge that I am remembered and thought about.
Apart from the beautiful material things I received this Christmas, I am also recipient to the most fabulous gifts -- letters, emails, and friends wanting to spend time with me.
And then there's Dee and Liza who wrote such wonderful entries for me. Thank you, Dee and Liz!
I will always be grateful to Patricia for making my awesome header. She's one of the most creative souls I know. Thank you, Pat.
Then there's Chelo who sent a GC and the most delicious binangkal! I was driving when I started gorging! :D Thank you, Chel. And oh, I know I have something more coming. ;P
I still have to claim Therese's gift one of these days. Thank you, T!
My family, my Manila and my college friends also gave me the most awesome gifts. But that's for another blog entry.
THANK YOU to all who called, texted, emailed, wrote letters, sent gifts, left wall/FB messages.
And THANK YOU to everyone who, even when you are in another time zone, sent love my way.
I am very grateful.
Loving these butterfly tags and the message that comes with it. Oh, I love the postcards, too!
Thank you, Yen. I'm looking forward to more travels and adventures!
And I hope one of those would take me to where you are. :)
It's here! My Lydia Davis book! Thank you, Yen!
I'm always amazed by your thoughtfulness. Can't wait to start reading!
I've been wanting to own one since the day I discovered Jessie about a year and a half ago.
Thank you, Nette! So thrilled and excited to use this!
Yes, even though I appreciate all the wonderful material gifts,
I always focus on the thoughts that come with them.
Two of my favorite things -- postcards and pictures (both electronic and print)
from my favorite people on the other side of the globe.
I saw this in my favorite paper boutique, the Invitation House, and I wanted to buy one.
And then I decided to prioritize buying gifts for other people. But the universe knows.
Jane gave me this beautiful sticky notes! Thank you, Jane!
Mimi got me a dress just like her's! And it fits me perfectly!
Thank you, Mi! I am wearing it on New Year's Eve.
Little sister Kaith gave me these luscious body butter and
delicious chocolate covered cookies! Tilaw ka, Mi? LOL.
And then a kindred spirit gave me this. She understands about childhood dreams and wants
and she made an effort to make that little childhood dream come true.
I was teary-eyed when I got this. Thank you. :)
