Jingjing.

The most beautiful discovery true friends make is that they can grow separately without growing apart.

. . . . .
She's a lot of big surprises in a small package. She's funny and smart and beautiful.
Jingjing and I have been friends for 22 years. We've known each other since we were awkward, self-conscious, and insecure. We've seen each other grow and marveled at each other's lives. And we share this mutual love and respect for each other. The best thing about this friendship is that it is mature, unselfish, and real.
I met Jingjing back in highschool when we became part of a musical play. And although our meetings and conversations are rare and far between, we have this unquestionable trust and loyalty towards each other. She gets my being straightforward and I appreciate her

In one of our conversations while in Laoag, she told me that there are things in her life that she could only share to me. I was very touched. To be trusted like that is an amazing thing. We spent the most part of our trips to Laoag and Vigan exchanging deepest thoughts and long-kept secrets.
It was the first time we actually traveled together, save for those trips from play rehearsals back in the day. They say, relationships are tested when people travel together, but I am proud to say that Jingjing and I are still friends. Haha. She's just so easy to get along with and like me, she's such a trooper. We both can sleep and eat anywhere. And we both do not mind walking far (or under the heat of noontime sun). We are considerate of each other and we can actually laugh at ourselves.
I absolutely loved traveling with her.

When I learned that we have common friends -- she went to Science High with Chelo, Lynette, and Therese, and was classmate with Jucy in Velez, and was with Ayen in their internship, I thought: What a small world! But I guess, the world really is so big, it can fit everyone.
Jingjing may be small, but she's one of those I know with the biggest heart.
Thank you, Jing! Let's travel again! :)

True, she still looks like the girl I met back in HS. And yes, she's very talented. I wish she'd dance again. She's amazing at it. :)
