Vigan at Night : Travel

There is something so amazingly beautiful about taking pictures at night. The lights add to the mood, everything becomes utterly dramatic and romantic.

It was already evening when Jingjing and I arrived in Vigan. We dropped off our things at the hotel and decided to walk to the town and to the famous Crisologo Street. It was breathtaking, it almost felt like walking through the cobblestone sidewalks of Paris. Somehow, it did remind me of Paris (except for the calesas, which I actually found quite charming) -- street cafes, old structures, small boutiques, lamp posts, and cool weather on a February night.

While sharing laughter and conversation with J, I let my old soul be engulfed by its beauty.

I shall blog about this trip more in the coming days.

I love old houses, too! That's why I love visiting old cities/places. Balay Negrense (and that Bacolod trip) was a good, happy memory. :)

WOW!!! This is just like being around in the olden days or being in Spain (not that I've been there--just saw photos). I think the beauty of our country is under-acclaimed. Look at how beautiful and breathtaking this is!
