A Year for Small Things.

Fill your days with the dear and familiar:
the sweetness of old stories,
the tenderness of apologies,
waking up to quiet cups of coffee,
the sureness of the hand that brushes your knee.

There should be slowness, and deliberation,
and above all kindness -- to yourself,
to a friend, to someone you barely know.
This shall be the year for small things,
for smallness; and they will be enough.

I so LOVE this photo--there is so much freshness, beauty and serenity to it! What a wonderful message you have here too.

Aileen, I hope you are feeling better. Sorry to learn you got hit with a flu! We missed you here.

I also love this photo of Ces. :) She is really always fresh (even at her most bulingit) and beautiful and serene in person. :)

Thank you, Liz! I am well now. :)
