Jingjing's Visit.

Last Sunday, we -- Jingjing, our common friend K, and I -- had the most awesome time at Sonya's Garden. We all loved the food and the place. We had loads of laughter and conversations. That was, I think, my favorite part -- the laughter and the conversations.

I've known Jingjing and K for 22 years and nothing beats talking with people who know your past, appreciate your journey, and honor your present. My conversations with these two are free-flowing, no-holds-barred, and bordering on madness.

It was such a riot being with those two.

K and I wanted to take Jingjing to many places in Tagaytay. Sadly, it rained so hard in the afternoon and we got stuck in terrible traffic at the ridge. We had to hurry back because Jingjing had a flight to catch.

So we opted for the longer but scenic route back to Manila. I was asleep half the time though. Blame my anti-histamine. :P

Jingjing stayed with me for a week while in Manila for a conference. It was also a week of sleepless nights because we talked a lot in the evenings. We used the time catching up because we seldom really see each other. It was fun having her around.

My house now seem so quiet without her.

Jingjing once told me that it is only with me that she can tell anything and everything. I was am touched. And that is what each of us strive for -- to be a good friend.

I can tell Jingjing anything, too, because with her, I feel I am never judged or misunderstood.

And right now, I am grateful for friends like her and for long, enduring, loving, real friendships.

6 left some love :

The first two pics above says a lot about JJ. As much as she can be beaming with laughter (how do you translate "nagngisi sa kakiat?"), she can also be serious and focused even in her dining habits!

It's no wonder why the two of you can be friends for so long. You have the same type of smiles. (Parehas mo bungisngis!)

Jing: I wish you happiness and fulfillment especially in all that your heart desires!
