Banana + Peanut Butter + Cream.

I like feeding people. Food makes me happy. And when I'm around family and friends, food is also always present. I love going to restos and try new things. I also love to whip up something
But I rarely really cook or bake because it's easier to call for food delivery. Haha.
Anyway, last weekend, I tried making a pie. No I did not make the crust. I bought it. Haha. There's ready-made Keebler crust in chocolate, graham, and shortbread. So I grabbed one -- chocolate, of course. I really love the graham one, too!
I lathered my pie with creamy peanut butter and placed banana over it and poured chocolate fudge. I whipped some Nestle cream with condensed milk and poured it on top. I refrigerated it for a couple of hours.

When I was ready to serve it, I placed more bananas on top of the cream and poured honey. It was delicious! CBB, who shuns desserts, loved it! He even asked for another slice!

I didn't make anything grand, but this made me happy. Anything I do with my hands just makes me happy. Maybe, I should go into pastry making. There's a culinary school just beside my building. I should just enroll myself and make my own pie crust.
And then maybe, I can make my own cake (and eat it, too)! And then I can feed people everyday. That would really make me very very happy. :)
An afterthought:
I used the word happy so many times, I should just have titled this entry Happy. :D

11 left some love :
Oh my God! I just had the exact same thing in my mind last week--that I should take baking classes and make pastries, cupcakes, learn how to make fondant and design cakes. This thought came about after I saw one cake artist's website and really fell in love with her work!
This pie looks very yummy, Ai! I'm sure it was yummy! And you make it sound like it wasn't so hard to make. :-)
Hahaha! Happy reading this, too :-D

That's what I want to do, Liz -- bake! I also want to learn how to cook, too! But then, I know that when I get into baking and cooking, I know I would want a really nice big kitchen! LOL!
Thanks, Liz. Really, it wasn't so hard. Easy + yum. :)
