Bea Turned One!

I love attending children's parties. It gives me a lot of joy to listen to children's laughter and seeing the genuine happiness on their faces. If you ask me what's my favorite event to cover, I'd say that weddings would only come in second to my list. The first would be children's parties. And children are not difficult to photograph. They're carefree and real and cute and awesome in ways that matter.

Mimi and Stella invited me to Bea's first birthday party at CPK-Glorietta. And even though I was running from one meeting to another, I dropped by because I really wanted to meet this charming little girl. She's such a smart one-year-old. Look at those intelligent eyes. :)

This is Bea's Mom and Dad. This little family was surrounded by family and friends that day.

The kids had games and awesome prizes! It was heartwarming and funny how Mimi was so serious about letting M & Z win the games! If I had a kid, I'd probably be that serious, too! :D

This is Mimi and Stella's Mom. I call her Mama, too. She's one of my favorite moms on earth. She hugged me when she saw me.

These two are quite smart. It runs in the family. My inaanak Zach was so sweet - he hugged me! :) Yes, I got lots of hugs that day!

Bea with Aunt Mimi and Mom Stella. Such a charming little girl! (PS. I love your curls, Mi!)

Here, with Stella's brother Julian fresh from Geneva. He took pictures of the party and of everyone. Such a doting brother and uncle.

I wish Bea many more wonderful, happy, healthy years. And I wish she'll always be surrounded by people who will love and protect her.

Happy Birthday, Bea! :)
