Some weeks back, I received a message from my friend Ces inviting me to dinner at her house. It was going to be a very special occasion because she and her beautiful kitchen by Miele will have a shoot for a feature in a magazine. Plus, Chef Jessie Sincioco will be preparing the food.
I was extremely happy and excited for her and I thanked her for making me part of it. She said: "I want you to be part of everything, from the simple special moments to the big milestones." How sweet is that? :)
The day before the shoot and dinner, she texted me: "I'm getting jittery about tomorrow. I need your light! Please tell me you'll be there." I was not going to miss it for the world.
It was such a wonderful evening. I met so many fabulous people. I had so much fun. And it goes without saying that the food was beyond awesome.
Thank you, Ces!

There's an entire wall of Miele appliances in this kitchen. And this is Ces. She's all kinds of wonderful.
Everything about her house and her kitchen spells love and happiness.
Here, being interviewed by Mega Publishing's Miguel.
Miguel is one of the nicest people I've met that night! He took good care of me during dinner. :)
This dining table could sit 12. How pretty is this table setting?
Ah, my place on the table. Ces also showed me my room. Yes, I have a room in her house! Oh, I feel so special. :D
Chef Jessie taught us how she does her dishes. She cooked the entire evening. Tireless, amazing woman!
And of course, we took notes (well, except for this one guest who kept taking pictures! *grin*).
One of my favorite things that night? Meeting the kids again!

We went home with these freshly baked cookies. Heaven!
