Months ago, my friend Jay mentioned it would be wonderful to have a shoot together. I agreed, so we started planning one, with my sister D as our subject. We've been both quite excited about this shoot for months and the day finally came. Mom, D, and I packed food and drinks, it almost felt like we were going on a road trip.
The night before the shoot, I had an asthma attack (plus flu). I was advised to postpone the shoot. But I already gave my word to Jay and I have this mad love for photography, so I went ahead with it. And I'm really glad I did because we had so much fun.

Excuse the swollen eyes. Flu. No apologies for being bungisngis. :P
I met Jay in a rather embarrassing situation. It was December some few years back, I was about to go home after an annual get-together with my college classmates when I realized my car won't start. This car has done a lot of embarrassing tricks on me, so I didn't panic. Besides, my friends A & S never left me. But to make the long story short, someone (a young local judge, G) came to my rescue. Jay was also there at that time and he volunteered to hold the flashlight. That night, the car got fixed, I arrived home in one piece, and I gained two new friends.

Jay always tells me: "Idol tika, idol nako si D, idol pud nako inyong Mom." Sweet.
But I also always tell him that he's my idol. :)
Jay is an amazingly talented person. He plays the bass, makes musical scores for movies, and takes brilliant photographs. His work was recently featured in SunStar. He is very nice and thoughtful and sweet and funny, there's no boring moment with him. He is very humble and grounded despite having double famous family names, and that's what I like most about him.
