An old picture of them, taken last year, just a few months before they left for Canada.
My apologies for repeating myself. I know I've already shared this on twitter and Facebook, but here I am again, blogging about it. This achievement may not be Michael Jackson epic, but I am proud of them nonetheless. And they certainly deserve a space in my blog.
It was a year ago today when my sister Azenith and her family left for Canada. And just one year in their new country, they've already achieved a lot while coping with their new environment -- the kids are in the honors list, they sang many times in school gatherings, they moved into their 1,100 sq.m. home (space-envy!), and they got invited to sing at the Alberta Summer Games. They have more invitations to sing in the coming months.
It's not just their achievements that I'm proud about. I am proud that the kids are good-natured, kind, and grateful. They are smart and funny, too. They are not brats, thankfully. They do household chores and are good at it. Even the boys know how to cook, wash/iron clothes, and clean the house. I am proud how well my sister and her husband J brought them up. And I am proud how focused they are in their goals and what amazing team they are as a family.

I wish them a good, happy, blessed life. I pray that they will always chase after their dreams. And I hope one day, I get to visit them! :)
