D and I celebrated her birthday with a quiet dinner at Mango Tree Bistro. Strange name for a Thai restaurant, me thinks. But the interiors were lovely. The food was good (I still love the food at Benjarong more though).
We were joined by D's boyfriend J who I had the pleasure of
torturing interviewing. "If you survive her," D told him, "you will survive the rest of my family." I'm the strict Ate, if you must know. :)
We three had a grand time. J was so easy to talk with. We laughed a lot. And D seemed very happy.
Thank you, J!
Since she moved here in Manila, we've been celebrating her birthday together.
Pad Thai, of course.
Grilled Spareribs, because I'm a shameless carnivore.
Chicken Barbeque. We loved this.
Mixed Seafood. So-so.
Mango Tree Bistro is located in Greenbelt 5,
just beside Lorenzo's Way.
I had tea and D had double chocolate at CBTL right after dinner.
We had more conversations there before heading home.
Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf is now at Greenbelt 5
(where Max Brenner used to be).
. . . . .
Excuse the vintage-y tones of these photos.
I received new sets of PS Actions as Christmas presents and I'm testing them!
