Last April, my sister Dionne won Best Supporting Actress for the Indie Film Infinite Sun at the CineSB Independent Film Festival. This is the second award she got for this film. The first one was a Best Actress Award given by NabiFilmEx (I think I already shared this news before). We are utterly proud of her. We are proud not only because she got these awards, but also because she really is a hard worker and a generally good person. She also never gives up on her dreams.
She's doing many things now -- she has an 8-5 job, makes pouches for OH LOVE, and goes to tapings when she's part of a show. Speaking of shows, have you seen the pilot of episode of Ipaglaban Mo? Dionne's there. Such a heartbreaking story.
. . . . .
Someone once said that my sister is already laos. I don't know exactly what laos means, but could I describe it as a fully blossomed flower that is wilting? But my sister hasn't reached her full potential yet. She's still young. And while she has already done so many wonderful things, many more wonderful things will happen in her life.
On the other hand, the girl who said the laos word is someone who is not exactly successful. She has not done anything worthy of note. She chose a career she thinks she's good at, but is not excelling at all. And her personal life is a massive mess.
Isn't it funny how the losers always have something negative to say about other people?
The lesson here is this -- if your life isn't perfect, control your nasty little mouth.
