Stepping into the cobblestone streets of Las Casas felt like being transported into the past. It was surreal. The heritage houses were all so beautiful and each has interesting stories to tell. My friends and I have been wanting to go since this resort opened. And more than two weekends ago, we went on a road trip to Las Casas. It was, by far, the best road trip ever.

We celebrated two occasions that day. One, it was Chris' birthday. And two, it was our little despedida for our dearest S who is off to Myanmar to take a post for an International Org. It was, I think, a really awesome way to celebrate the life of these two. We had so much fun, especially during the 3-hour journey to Bataan. We couldn't stop talking and laughing inside the car, it was silly. The good kind of silly.
I blogged about this trip HERE. And posted more photos HERE.

On our way home, we dropped by Apag Marangle in Pampangga for dinner. Although we had a tough time looking for the place, it was worth all the wrong turns. Really good food!
We have made so many wonderful memories together, but this Las Casas trip surely is one of my favorites.
