My Cousin's Wedding

. . . . .

It was a heartwarming moment for all of us, to see my cousin Jeanne walk down the aisle. She looked absolutely happy and beautiful, every inch a blushing bride.

I went home to Cebu last October just for her wedding. She's my favorite Aunt's eldest daughter. I was about 11 years old when she was born. She was like a little doll we loved to play with. When I started working, I used to pick her and her siblings up from school. I was a bit emotional when she walked down the aisle, to see her all grown up, and ready to start a new chapter in her life.

Bing and Jeanne have a beautiful love story, one that endured time and distance. Their wedding was a celebration of that love. It was solemn, heartfelt, real, and fun.

My entire family was there and we had a little dance number. Haha. It was also an opportunity for us to meet relatives we have not seen in awhile. My Tacloban-based Aunt, who we thought we lost during Yolanda, was also present. We loved every moment she was there with us.

Protacio made Jeanne's gown and she looked absolutely stunning in it. They had John Harold Tan Lucas, one of the best wedding and portrait photographers in the country today, to document this wonderful occasion.

Here's sharing Bing and Jeanne's SDE photos. I always get teary-eyed when I watch this.
